A woman named Kindra Arnesen has been making the round on the net on a viral video in which she explains how bad the BP disaster REALLY is. Her description was quite grim but many people picked up on the fact she had been with a film crew as she saw BP’s devastation. She claimed the video she shot with them was banned.. well here it is, along with Kindra’s original video:

Nintendo’s Reggie Fils Aime visited Jimmy Fallon on the Late Night show to show of the new Donkey Kong Country for the Wii. I played the Gamecube version where you smacked a big drum controller and it was fun as hell! That said, can we get a new franchise? Anyway, the 3DS makes an appearance.. I just want to see what it looks like in person though!
There seems to be an unending amount of disasters for the president to clean up… and because of our 24/7 news cycle, it’s easy to forget how much Obama has really done for the country. The news surrounding the BP spill gets worse with each passing day. Deadly Methane clouds washed inland, Oil clouds over the coast, and now news of a Tsunami caused by steam when the water from the ocean hits the magma in the ground. It’s expected to happen by the middle of the Summer and the US is already secretly preparing to evacuate everyone.
You can almost hear the moment the audience goes from laughing at the BP spill to being worried about it. It happens around the part Stephen starts talking about how the dispersants used in the gulf are going to make oil rain on the country. Yep, that’s what’s happening… and guess what? They aren’t telling people the dispersant is also in the air and the oil and the dispersant will kill wildlife. Fuck BP!
Earlier tonight on The Rachel Maddow Show, Maddow explained how two different oil rigs are used to harvest oil. First, a rig is used for drilling, then the hole is capped.The first rig leaves and a second rig comes and uncaps the hole to collect the oil. Obama is is trying to stop drilling, not harvesting, but a the moratorium has been shot down twice by a judge.
Wild dogs are a big problem in parts of Moscow, this woman was unfortunate enough to be surrounded by them.. but luckily a man with a shovel emerges from the shadows to come to her rescue.
As a man walks along the beach there are tarballs all over the sand and yet children and adults continue to swim in the water. How stupid are these people? The ineptitude is amazing, why is no one cleaning that up? Or at least telling people to get out of the water? Is this all due to BP’s media blackout? When will the BP crises reach it’s worst point? I’ve heard that if the flow isn’t stopped, 1/3 of the world’s water could be contaminated.
Jon Stewart played a depressing montage on the Daily Show tonight that highlighted how many times Obama has said one of our goals in Afghanistan is to “Stop the Taliban’s Momentum”. Well, what does that mean exactly? Jon Stewart investigates.
There was a general consensus on The View panel today that American troops should get out of Afghanistan. The only person that doesn’t agree? Obama.. oh and the generals that have no problem with letting the war rage on for 10-30 years.
Adam Sandler stopped by the Tonight Show to promote his new movie Grown-ups. It was nice to see Sandler back in form and the interview was pretty funny. Grown-ups seems like an easy cash-in film if you ask me though.. the reviews are pretty bad at rottentomatoes.

On the Colbert Report tonight during Stephen’s ‘Yahweh or No Way’ segment, he showed clips of Glenn beck as he announced a protest he is doing on the anniversary of Martin Luther King’s famous march in 1963. As Stephen plays clips from Beck’s audio show, the audience actually boos it’s so offensive.
Larry Wilmore sat down with Jon Stewart today to discuss whether Barack Obama can afford to be an “angry black man”, I don’t understand, I guess I’ve never experienced the “angry black man” stereotype. It seems like the media can’t make up it’s mind; Is Obama too calm or is he too angry? Jon does a hilariously bad black person impression.
Re-animated drag-queen corpse Ann Coulter sat down with the oddly named Megyn Kelly to discuss Obama’s recent golf trip. Many criticized the president for not being more focused on the oil spill. Ann decided to weigh in and her comments were not complimentary.
Petraeus is in and McChrystal is out. What does this mean? Who knows? As civilians we exist in a fog of disinformation or, I guess, lack of information. I doubt we will notice any change, we are still on a mission to lose as much money as possible it seems. Then again, those mineral deposits might be extending our stay.
The Jimmy Kimmel show went decidedly low-tech tonight when a power-failure forced Jimmy to shoot the show on his Macbook. Suprisingly, it all went smoothly and Seth Rogan turned in a hilarious interview. It was an interesting experiment for the show, also, some great publicity for Apple.
Jon Stewart took a closer look at the MMS tonight and it’s decision to change it’s name, he also discussed the recent and uncalled for remarks by General McChrystal about the Obama administration. Lastly, Stewart observed some of the outrage that Obama is being treated to because he has gone on several golf trips during the BP crisis.
