Bill Maher Tears Apart Fake Atheist S.E. Cupp (Video)

It’s a little strange when a woman describing herself as an atheist claims to also be conservative. Being atheist is usually something associated with logic and if you’re a social conservative, chances are your actions are not dictated by logic but by some kind of religious text. In this clip from Real Time with Bill Maher, S.E. Cupp and the rest of the panel discuss atheism.. and it’s clear S.E. Cupp is not an atheist.
As Maher needles away at Cupp, it becomes clear fast that she is not really an atheist and is just a puppet for Republicans and conservatives. Cupp doesn’t make ANY points and all she does is defend religion. How is the liberal media attacking religion? The only anti-religious voice that I EVER hear is Bill Maher. Liberals aren’t attacking religion they are just abiding by the constitution, which states that there is separation between church and state.
Do you know why it says that in the constitution? Because the founders were smarter than religious people. We don’t want the country turning into a theocracy like Islamic countries and you’re crazy if you think that couldn’t happen if the wrong people came into power.
She claims to be atheist and uses that as her gimmick but she’s also written a book called: Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media’s Attack on Christianity.
From the product description: From her galvanizing introduction, you know where S. E. Cupp stands: She’s an atheist. A non-believer. Which makes her the perfect impartial reporter from the trenches of a culture war dividing America and eroding the Judeo-Christian values on which this country was founded. Starting at the top, she exposes the unwitting courtship of President Obama and the liberal press, which consistently misreports or downplays Obama’s clear discomfort with, or blatant disregard for, religious America—from covering up religious imagery in the backdrop of his Georgetown University speech to his absence from events surrounding the National Day of Prayer, to identifying America in his inaugural address as, among other things, “a nation of non-believers.” She likens the calculated attacks of the liberal media to a class war, a revolution with a singular purpose: to overthrow God and silence Christian America for good. And she sends out an urgent call for all Americans to push back the leftist propaganda blitz striking on the Internet, radio, television, in films, publishing, and print journalism—or invite the tyrannies of a “mainstream” media set on mocking our beliefs, controlling our decisions, and extinguishing our freedoms.
This is an interview she did on C-span, it shows a lot of her background but I can’t help but feel like her entire persona is fake and that she is a sociopath.

She is a total "Poser"! Most people become Atheists for very firm reasons. How she can claim to be Atheist, yet respect the religious dogma that others believe, it's beyond ridiculous! Respect the individual? I'll buy that (maybe), but a true Atheist finds the very idea of a belief in a god/gods, to be the antithesis of common sense and reason!
To support religious ideology and promote the religious right propaganda, is far from being Atheist!
[...] S.E. Cupp was called out on Bill Maher earlier this year when she refused to say that religious people are “deluded”. Maher and the audience couldn’t understand her viewpoint. If you believe that religion is fake and a fairytale, how can you not call religious people anything BUT delusional? They believe in something that isn’t there and make life or death decisions because of that non-existent entity. [...]
Is is possible to be an atheist and be conservative? I think so. Check out this essay by William F. Buckley Jr..

Another atheist saying falsely that the constitution states, "that there is separation between church and state". Try reading the constitution brother. That is not what it says.

Bill Maher got totally pwned!
I am 100% agnostic and I don't hate other religions. I just don't care. I love the quote from The Stranger, "Even if there is a God, what does he have to do with me?" ….or something like that.
The cause of the majority of the wars that Bill Maher claims religions caused, was not religion, but economics. Religion was just used as a means to achieve economic ends. Furthermore, the few wars that were actually caused by religion, they were caused by fanatics and extremists or, as is often the case, they were tribal wars (this includes many of the current Middle-Eastern conflicts, see Syria or learn about the tribe that Saddam Hussein came from and how this small minority of people controlled the entire government).
