The Ultimate Car Crash Compilation (Video)

Before hitting it big with her television show and stand-up film, Jesus is Magic, Sarah Silverman tried her hand at acting. In this scene from the 1999 film, ‘Way of the Gun’, Silverman’s scene almost overshadows the entire film. Even if you hate Sarah, you have to admit, there could be no one better to play this character.

Right-wing conservatroll Ann Coulter has made a name for herself by pushing people’s buttons. In this clip from Adam Carolla’s old radioshow, Ann calls in later for a phone interview. Coulter starts making excuses but Adam isn’t having it and quickly cuts her off.
S.E. Cupp slithered over to the CBN(Christian Broadcasting Network) studios earlier this week to discuss how the media and the left are attacking christianity. Cupp has been on several news outlets recently, all with the slant that she is a conservative atheist. This has proven to be quite lucrative for her as she is carving her own strange niche in the conservative community.
Levi Johnston just won’t seem to go away, it’s bad for the Palin’s but good for almost everyone else. Levi is an oddity of sorts, he has no real talent, he doesn’t really give very good interview… but we keep him around because we know it makes Sarah mad. Watch as Levi and Jimmy discuss Bristol and Levi’s recent engagement, their un-engagement, and Levi’s plans for the future.
President Bush passed the “Bush Tax Cuts” during his presidency to help high-income earners keep a larger percentage of their income. The tax cuts, passed in 2001 and 2003, are sent to expire soon.. and with the economic recovery looking as dire as ever, expiration is particularly controversial. Rachel explains why Republicans are pretending extending the tax cuts will help Americans.
President Obama’s first term as president has not been a cakewalk. The economy collapsed JUST as he came into office and ever since, things seem to get worse by the day. It was announced today that Obama is dissolving the position of “ethics czar”, the “czar” in charge of making things transparent. Obama has decided to embrace the rules that Bush administration carved out for themselves and ignore transparency.
White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs came under fire yesterday for saying that Obama’s left-wing critics should be “drug-tested”. Gibbs has downplayed the comments but they seem to have struck a chord in many congressional democrats. These comments are something you might expect from a Fox News spokesman, not the representative for the White House. In this video, Grayson calls Gibbs “Bozo The Spokesman” and says Gibbs should not be allowed to resign but should be fired.
On Monday, Karl Rove was on Fox and Friends complaining about Wikileaks and plugging his upcoming appearance on Rush Limbaugh. Yesterday, Rove made his on-air debut, and flopped. Though Limbaugh touted Rove as a great sub, Rove appeared nervous and unprepared for his gig. This might turn out to be devastating blow for MC Rove, as he rarely lets himself look so weak in the public eye. Republicans that listen to Limbaugh are not going to be impressed with Rove’s performance and that could mean trouble down the road.
Anthony Weiner took time off from kicking Republican asses on the floor to sit down with the Morning Joe crew. Joe Scarborough and Weiner immediately started butting heads about how Republicans are obstructing getting important legislation passed in congress. Joe is trying to blame Democrats for being weak or spineless but in truth, the amount of obstruction by the Republicans is historic.
The drug war has ravaged much of Mexico and turned it into a very dangerous place. It is so dangerous that the government has decided to bring in federal police to watch over local police. There have been flare-ups between local and federal police but this is the most explosive thus far. Watch as federal police storm a local commanders hotel room, local police decided to defend their commander and pretty soon fighting breaks out. It might be good that federal police are getting their local counterparts in order but mutiny like this speaks volumes to just how lawless the country has become.
Today on Fox and Friends, Karl Rove sat down with the rest of the Fox and Friends crew to discuss the wikileaks controversy. Karl Rove is someone who is relentless in defense of himself and also the past administration. This time Rove is on Obama’s side though as both are coming out against wikileaks and the recently released documents outlining the war in Afghanistan.
On Sunday’s “Face the Nation” David Boies and Tony Perkins went toe-to-toe on the legality of same-sex marriage. Boies claims that it is very easy to obscure public thinking on an issue by claiming things that are patently, not true. He claims that marriage is a right to all people, and the religious right cannot stop Americans from getting married.
In this clip, Andrew Napolitano makes a good case for Wikileaks being an essential asset to democracy and protecting democracy. Great points are made but would topics like these have been broached during the Bush administration? Transparency is something everyone can get behind (well, except for the extremely daft) but is all this just being said because we are in the Obama administration and the Republicans will take any chance to make Obama look bad? If Republicans embrace things like Wikileaks, Gay Marriage, and Pot Legalization, they could get a lot of support from the left and change voter’s perception.
Rachel Maddow’s recent interview on The Late Show with David Letterman turned a lot of heads. The right-wing is in an uproar over Maddow going on such a mainstream show and calling out Fox News. This is forcing Fox News to defend itself but unfortunately Fox has no way to defend the things that it has done. O’Reilly and Fox would do best to just ignore her attacks, Maddow is too smart, and O’Reilly will never get the upper hand against such an intelligent woman. Maddow is able to dismantle every fallacious argument that comes her way. Sorry Bill, you’re out of your league.

Typically, Conservatives and Republicans have been against drug legalization, in most part due to Nancy Reagan’s failed “War on Drugs” and their tendency to praise Reagan as some sort of deity. Things are slowly changing though and although President Reagan is still up on a pedestal, his wife’s failed war on drugs is not. Watch as some of today’s most famous conservatives discuss why they think it’s time to legalize marijuana.
This year’s new Republicans are a little more extreme than last year’s models, no one is really talking about it but somehow, it has become the new Republican platform to deny abortion to rape and incest victims. Providing no leeway for rape victims might prove to be a losing strategy for the Republicans in the 2010 elections. Would you want your daughter to carry the child of a rapist?
S.E. Cupp has been making the rounds at different news organizations for the last few years but always with the same old shtick. She claims to be atheist but then in the course of the interview vehemently defends religion. Is she really an atheist or just claiming to be one for personal gain? In this aggravating video, S.E. Cupp explains to Sean Hannity how religion is being attacked in America.

Yesterday, on ‘The View’ the entire “Housewives of DC” cast showed up to do a press junket. One of the “Housewives” is Michaele Salahi, her and her husband crashed the White House Correspondent’s dinner earlier this year. The interview didn’t go as smoothly as planned and Whoopi Goldberg left the interview halfway through. Afterward, Salahi claimed she was assaulted by Goldberg. Here, Whoopi explains her side of the story.
