Rand Paul fan tries to Curbstomp Moveon.org Volunteer (Video)Author: Jon Martin | Tuesday, October 26th, 2010 |
Earlier tonight at the Kentucky Senatorial debate , a Rand Paul supporter was filmed by a local news affiliate stomping on the head of a Moveon.org activist. The Moveon.org volunteer, Lauren Valle, was sent to the hospital after she explained what happened to the local press. The local fox station says that Valle had attempted to approach Paul before the debate took place. She was dressed in a blond wig and held a “RepublicanCorp” sign, attempting to mock the close-ties Republicans have with special interest groups. Then a group of thugs confronted her and acted as if they had some sort of authority to detain her, a man then decides to put his foot on her head and stomp it into the ground.
Takes a real man to do this sort of thing. I can’t imagine what that guy was thinking as he did this, I hope he’s at home now, embarrassed out of his mind. This is the kind of thing that could hand the Democrats the midterm elections, it shows how crazy these people are. You have a grown man stomping on a woman at a Rand Paul convention while others just watch. I am not a fan of the Tea Party but I didn’t expect this, what a shameful display.
Last week, Tea-Party backed congressional candidate in Texas, Stephen Broden, a pastor running against Democratic Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, said that a violent overthrow of the government is “on the table”. Broden went on to say that “our nation was founded on violence”. In a recent interview with Dallas’s WFAA-TV, Broden went on to say ” I don’t think that we should ever remove anything from the table as it relates to our liberties and our freedoms.”
How do they expect to capture the votes of moderates with things like this? The Tea Party now seems like a bunch of ignorant, angry, violent, buffoons. They are the down-trodden spreading the message of the rich, it’s a sad state of affairs, and now they are willing to get violent for the rich.
