Pat Robertson Calls for End of Marijuana Prohibition (Video)

Pat Robertson is not known for his liberal views but it seems that the drug war might be changing his mind. Robertson, on the Christian Broadcast Network, told viewers that “kids are being put away for taking a few hits of marijuana” and that because of unfair laws, experimenting with marijuana is now ruining children’s lives. It’s nice to see the usually batshit insane Pat Robertson come to a logical conclusion.
Robertson is not the only conservative to support new marijuana laws, many other conservatives are beginning to support legalizing weed as well. When report after report shows that alcohol is more dangerous than marijuana, it is strange to still see Obama and many politicians continue to spread lies and misinformation about marijuana and it’s effects. A recent study in the UK said that alcohol has worse long-term effects than heroin.
